SCOTTISH FOLD KITTENS
PRICING SCOTTISH FOLD KITTENS 2023: $1200
Our purebred Scottish Fold kittens are our pride and joy at Muskoka Meows Cattery. All kittens are born with folded ears and blue eyes. Scottish Fold kittens start to show / indicate their ears will be folded by 21 days old. There are varying degrees of "folds", with triple fold being the most desirable. Kittens with ears noted as "double fold" will be sold as straights.
SCOTTISH STRAIGHT KITTENS
PRICING SCOTTISH STRAIGHT KITTENS 2023: $900
Our purebred Scottish Straights are also stunning with their larger heads, large eyes and beautiful features. Our female Scottish kittens will weigh on average 5-8 pounds and our males will weigh 8-11 pounds full grown. The personality of the Scottish Fold / Straight is noted to amicable towards people and other animals, cuddly and relaxed. Lifespan on average is 15 years of age.
Health Guarantee / Insurance / Food
One Year Health Guarantee
Muskoka Meows Cattery offers a one year health guarantee for any hereditary or genetic conditions diagnosed by a Registered Veterinarian. We reserve the right to confirm this medical opinion as well to seek a second opinion as this relates to our breeding animals. This guarantee expires when the kitten is 14 months of age. A full refund will be provided.
Trupanion Insurance
Muskoka Meows Cattery partnered in 2022 with Trupanion Pet Insurance and now provide 30 days of insurance free to our kitten parents. This insurance must be activated (online or by phone) within 24 hours of taking the kitten home from the cattery. Families can work independently with Trupanion Insurance and decide if they want to enrol in further coverage beyond the initial 30 day coverage. With the rising costs of veterinarian services, this shgiukd be thoroughly considered.

Feeding
Muskoka Meows Cattery is feeding out kittens and adults Fromm Kitten kibble (Gold brand) as well as Iams kitten pate. When kittens are 3-4 weeks of age, we provide kitten formula and pate for them to start weaning and to encourage growth and development. Kibble is added shortly after. Kittens have their kibble and water available to them at all times once they are 4 weeks of age. Pate / Meat is provided twice per day (tablespoon serving) until they are 6 months of age.
Litter training also begins once food is added to their diet. In terms of litter, we use Tidy Cat brand, lightweight. Cats like to be very clean, so through cleaning is provided throughout the day in our cattery.
